The “GELNORM – PVN-1” equipment consists of a control unit, a stand and a motor driven test rod. The instrument is used to measure Gel Time using two measuring methods based on DIN EN ISO 2535.
The instrument is used to measure the time required for a defined formula material (resin, accelerator, initiator), to reach a viscosity of 50 Pa*s under defined conditions.
A rod made of glass, delrin or aluminium, immersed to a defined depth is rotated in the specimen. The procedure is provided with an automatic release device for the specimen, which is held in a beaker or in a test tube.

GELNORM – MED 010 is new measuring instrument for establishment of the critical temperature (softening temperature) of fibre glass reinforcement for laminates at the point of loss of stiffness (loss of strength) in bend test specimen as a function of the temperature.
Model Med010 is the outcome of further development, to provide an extremely economical means for the thermo mechanical analysis similar to the “conventional” examination of the TMA of laminate material. The critical temperature measured is an important parameter which shows good correlation with the TMA established by method B in accordance with DIN EN 61006 – IEC 1006.

The Gelnorm®– Geltimer PTC-3 evaluates all factors which influence the gel time of reaction resins such as type and quantity of hardener, accelerator, inhibitor, filler, pigments, as well as temperature and moisture. The instrument is extremely easy to operate and normally needs no maintenance.
The principle of measurement of Gelnorm®– Geltimer is simple: A stamper made of aluminium or stainless steel performs an up-down cycle in a test tube filled with resin. When the point of gelation is reached, the test tube is pulled up by the stamper. This stops the clock which was started at the beginning of the experiment and the gel time can be read of.
With the probe temperature system the exothermic reaction can be measured. With the optional temperature controller PTT-3 and electric heating Block GT the sample mixture can be heated up and controlled.

The simplest T-bar spindle exchange mechanism (via magnetic coupling) saves up to 15 seconds per test and is included in the standard delivery of the T-bar spindle set. The magnetic coupling further reduces ongoing maintenance costs, as the spindles and the instrument are protected against damage caused by knocks or bending. You will reduce the risk of user errors as the T-bar is automatically detected by ViscoQC for the most reliable and traceable viscosity results.
The built-in digital leveling of ViscoQC guarantees that the Heli-Plus is automatically aligned. By digitally defining the start, immersion, and reversing positions of the motorized Heli-Plus on the screen of ViscoQC, test procedures can be fully automated. The standardization of your test procedure ensures the highest repeatability of viscosity results. Uptime during production is maximized as there is no need to repeat failed measurements due to e.g. a wrong choice for the measuring start position.
